Cynthia Von Buhler, also known as Countess von Buhler, is an American artist, performer, playwright, and children’s book author. The press has described her as “multitalented and eccentric,” a “rising star,” and “one of the top contemporary surrealists.” Cynthia von Buhler has earned acclaim as an award-winning fine artist, author, and illustrator.
Von Buhler’s work has been compared to a journey down an ornate rabbit hole. Her striking, three-dimensional paintings have been exhibited in galleries and museums globally, and have been featured in publications such as TIME and The New Yorker. Her sculptures have appeared on NBC’s Law & Order and Kidnapped.
