Fluency 8 books have a word count of 5280 words with an expected reading rate of 110 words per minute.

About the Author

Chris Bradford is the multi-million copy selling author of the Young Samurai, Bodyguard and Jake and Jen series. Renowned for his dynamic author events and his ‘method writing’ technique, Chris is a black belt martial artist, qualified professional bodyguard and former musician. His life goal is #GettingKidsReadingMonique is a Jamaican-born illustrator residing in the small pocket of reality between time and space (also known as Miami). After receiving her BFA in illustration from Ringling College she made a professional start as an Illustration resident at Buzzfeed. She continues to draw, focusing on historical costuming, magic, and women in power.
