Big Cat for Little Wandle Fluency has been developed in collaboration with Wandle Learning Trust and Little Sutton Primary School. It consists of a range of chapter books with increasing word counts across 10 fluency levels aimed at children in Year 2 and 3. Each book builds reading confidence, stamina and speed and nurtures a love for reading.

Fluency 8 books have a word count of 5280 words with an expected reading rate of 110 words per minute.

Chris Bradford is the multi-million copy selling author of the Young Samurai, Bodyguard and Jake and Jen series. Renowned for his dynamic author events and his ‘method writing’ technique, Chris is a black belt martial artist, qualified professional bodyguard and former musician. His life goal is #GettingKidsReadingMonique is a Jamaican-born illustrator residing in the small pocket of reality between time and space (also known as Miami). After receiving her BFA in illustration from Ringling College she made a professional start as an Illustration resident at Buzzfeed. She continues to draw, focusing on historical costuming, magic, and women in power. When not drawing, she’s deeply mired in pop culture, refining her spicy foods palette and lamenting no longer living the “island girl” lifestyle.
