Two Ways Strong: Jaz’s Story is written by 14 Indigenous students from Concordia Lutheran College, known as The Deadly Mob from Concordia. These students represent diverse communities across Queensland, including Dauan Island in the Torres Strait, and various locations on the north-east coast such as Hopevale, Mareeba, Lockhart River, Wujal Wujal, and Palm Island, as well as Cherbourg in the central south west.
This book was developed during a writing workshop facilitated by:
- Claire Scobie: Author of the travel memoir Last Seen in Lhasa and the novel The Pagoda Tree.
- Kristine Ellis: A writer and poet with connections to the Wakka Wakka people and Kiriri (Hammond Island) in the Torres Strait.
