After several years in the Australian Army, Peter pursued his lifelong dream of a career in the book industry.

Peter has illustrated several notable works, including I’m a Hero Too, Nothing Alike, and the Pow Pow Pig and Freddie Spector series. His debut as an author and illustrator, Every Night at Midnight, was recognized as the CBCA Shadow Judging Winner for Picture Book of the Year in 2024. He has since released his second author-illustrated book, Where We Can Hear the Giants Sing. Peter is currently developing his debut graphic novel series, April Ordinary, Thief Extraordinary, with the first book scheduled for release in 2027.

Peter resides in Perth (Whadjuk Region), Western Australia, with his supportive wife, sons, and his less understanding cat.
