Chuck Hughes
Chuck Hughes
Chuck Hughes is the co-owner and executive chef of Montreal’s acclaimed restaurant, Garde Manger. He is also the bestselling author of Chuck’s Home Cooking, Garde Manger, and Chuck’s Day Off. Hughes has hosted numerous television shows, including Chuck’s Day Off, Chuck’s Week Off, Chuck’s Eat the Street, Couteaux Tirés, Le Monde Selon Chuck, Chuck & Danny’s Road Trip, Bienvenue Chez Chuck, and most recently, Chuck and The First Peoples’ Kitchen.
He famously defeated Iron Chef Bobby Flay in a Canadian lobster battle and was a contestant on The Next Iron Chef: Super Chefs. Chuck lives in Montreal with his partner, Sabrina, and their two sons, Charlie and Henri.
Christopher Merrick
Christopher Merrick grew up in Sudbury, Ontario, before relocating to Vancouver to hone his culinary skills at the renowned Chambar restaurant. He is currently the chef and co-owner of Garde Manger in Montreal. He resides in Montreal with his wife, Holly, their cat, Garfield, and their dog, Maybelline.
