What They're Saying
Critics Review
‘This is a brilliant book… The book provides us with the opportunity to reflect and consider how to free ourselves from some of the stresses of parenting by renewing these twelve qualities within ourselves and modelling them for our children. Parenting with Values is a worthwhile journey to take for – for grandparents and carers too!’– New View‘These are short, easy to digest chapters filled with everyday examples of values in action. Inspiring!’– Kindling‘This might sound like something from a Supernanny-styled television show, or a proselytizing tome about zen-like parents who do not really exist in normal life, but rest assured, it is an extremely level-headed and warm hearted book that offers a great deal to stressed parents and families… This book is short enough to be an easy read, but powerful enough to give you an insight into the parents of the children in your setting and ways that you might be able to help when it comes to essential values, such as empathy, independence, truthfulness, self-respect, and more.’– EYE Magazine‘This very easy-to-read book highlights the importance of values… I very much like the idea of values-based parenting, and I found this book a helpful way to gently remind me where to refocus… The many anecdotes throughout the book help bring the theory into reality and show how values can be a place of strength for parents.’– Juno Magazine
