About The Author
Chris Navalta
Chris Navalta was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. He studied journalism at Sacramento State University, where he covered high school and college sports including football, basketball, baseball, and soccer. He later transitioned into sports public relations, working with NBA teams (Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors) and in Minor League Baseball (Sacramento River Cats).
Currently, Chris leads award-nominated PR campaigns in the video game industry. He also works with athletes, connecting them with their favorite video games. Chris is the author of Basketball Stars: Stories and Skills from the NBA’s and WNBA’s Best Players.
Lorenzo Fornaciari is an illustrator, graphic designer, and teacher. He studied at Scuola Internazionale di Comics in Reggio Emilia, Italy, and began his freelance illustration career shortly after. He has lived in the UK and Italy, creating illustrations for children’s books. Lorenzo also taught storyboarding and Photoshop at Scuola Internazionale di Comics. His diverse projects include work in video games, animation, websites, comics, and board games.
