About The Author
Chris McKenna
Chris McKenna is the founder of Protect Young Eyes (PYE), an organization dedicated to helping families, schools, and churches create safer digital spaces through education and community. He has authored resources for families and churches on digital safety and the issue of pornography.
In 2019, Chris’s testimony before the US Senate was instrumental in the passage of new laws aimed at protecting children online. This work led to PYE receiving the Dignity Defense Alert Award from the National Center on Sexual Exploitation and the Child Safety Award from The Phase Alliance.
Chris serves as a technical advisor to AngelQ AI and actively collaborates with digital safety advocates and legislators to develop policies that address harmful technologies. Representing the Human Change Movement, he has spoken at the World Economic Forum in both 2024 and 2025.
Under his leadership, the PYE team delivers presentations globally to parents, professionals, and schools. Their efforts have also been recognized through their inclusion in the movie “Childhood 2.0.” Chris is married to Andrea and is a father of four.
