A captivating debut from one of Booktrust’s Best New Illustrators … is exceptional for its endearing and expressive characterisation, distinctive stylised figures, and unusual palette of ochre, orange, purple, turquoise and indigo, like 1970s’ curtains. It makes you smile. – Nicolette Jones * The Sunday Times *It’s endearing, and has beautiful pictures and easy-to-follow themes. * Little Buttons *Has a distinctive look and a charm all its own. Small children can enjoying being one step ahead of squirrel’s clues and spotting small creatures in silhouette against the flat, saturated colour and stylised trees. – Nicolette Jones * The Sunday Times *This stunning picture book from rising Irish star Chris Haughton is one of the top picks of the year. * Sunday Business Post *A distinctive and elegant book, best for reading aloud snuggled up in bed. * Daily Mail *
