What They're Saying

Critics Review

“Poe’s famous poem comes to life for young readers with evocative illustrations.”–Shelf Awareness“A masterpiece in creepy rhymes for Halloween or darker times… Good stuff.”–Kirkus Reviews“In this handsome new book, Bristol gives (“The Raven”) a reverential treatment, presenting the complete text in an appropriately moody Victorian Gothic interior, all loose, sketchy lines filled in with rich, earthy greens, browns, and purples. …This elegant treatment of Poe’s work will find a place on the shelves of erudite readers with an appetite for sophisticated language and Gothic atmosphere.“–School Library Journal
