Critics Review
‘Little kids love to move and race and dig, and this book by illutsrator Orsini will help them with just that. A great book to share with little ones just before sending them out to play in the backyard, it vividly depicts how all sorts of machines move and work … Orsini beautifully creates a lively game of pretend, with bright colours and movement providing inspiration for active outdoor games.’ - Weekend West, Perth
[of THE ABC BOOK OF CARS, TRAINS, BOATS AND PLANES] ‘Cheryl Orisini’s illustrations are typically gorgeous a real feast for the eyes. Charming and whimsical, I love her use of colour and detail. I personally have only a moderate interest in machines (having already passed through my toddler years) but even I want to know more just by ogling these beautiful pictures.’ - kids-bookreview.com[of POM POM] ‘Cheryl Orsini’s absolutely divine illustrations are some of my favourite in a picture book this year. From the endpapers, through the book proper and the covers, too, her utterly whimsical illustrations are so eye-engaging, it’s a delight to turn each page and witness a new surprise.’ - blog.boomerangbooks.com.auAbout The Author
