He is the co-author (with Jorge Perez-Lopez) of Conquering Nature: The Environmental Legacy of Socialism in Cuba. CHARLES C. CHENEY IS SENIOR RESEARCHER AT THE COUNCIL FOR HUMAN DEVELOPMENT.
