Cate Berry lives, writes and counts her chickens in Austin, Texas. She is the author of Penguin and Tiny Shrimp Don’t Do Bedtime!, illustrated by Charles Santoso, which Publisher’s Weekly called “a buoyantly subversive anti-bedtime story.” Cate holds an MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts and speaks at schools, libraries, and conferences year-round. Before that, she was Art Director for a popular women’s weekly magazine.
