About the Author

Hades, Candice Fox's first novel, won the Ned Kelly Award for best debut in 2014 from the Australian Crime Writers Association. The sequel, Eden, won the Ned Kelly Award for best crime novel in 2015, making Candice only the second author to win these accolades back-to-back. Also, in the 2015 Davitt Awards, Hades was Highly Commended in the debut category. Lani Tupu is a New Zealand-born classically trained actor of Samoan descent. He is an accomplished voice actor with over 30 years’ experience in stage and screen both in front and behind the camera. He has appeared in countless productions, and is best known for Farscape (1999), Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars (2004) and The Condemned (2007). Lani’s got a great natural depth to his voice, which combined with his neutral accent makes him a favourite for audiobooks.
