Buchun Si

Buchun Si is a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at the China Agricultural University. His research interests encompass agricultural waste treatment, sustainable energy, and chemical technologies.

His current research focuses on integrating systems for next-generation waste-to-energy conversion technologies, including:

  • Anaerobic fermentation for hydrogen and methane production
  • Design and development of technologies and equipment for wastewater treatment
  • Hydrothermal liquefaction and gasification for biofuels production
