About The Author

Bryce Galloway

Bryce Galloway is a Pakeha artist-academic who was born in Kirikiriroa Hamilton in 1966. He is the author of the long-running quarterly zine Incredibly Hot Sex with Hideous People, which first hit the streets of Te Whanganui-a-Tara in February 2002. He has been an occasional Wellington Zinefest committee member, and is the co-founder of Kirikiriroa Hamilton Zine Fest (2014) alongside Kim Paton. A cross-media artist, Galloway is also singer-songwriter for the group Wendyhouse and has had group and solo exhibitions throughout Aotearoa, utilising sound, video, zine-making and drawing. Galloway lectures at Whiti o Rehua School of Art, Massey University.
