About The Author
Bryan Dawe
Bryan Dawe is a political satirist, writer, performer and photographer who has enjoyed a long career on radio, television, film and the speakers’ circuit with his characters Sir Murray Rivers QC and Roly Parks’ Letter from Kalangadoo. Bryan has worked for twenty six years with fellow satirist, John Clarke, in one of the longest running national segments on Australian television, ABC TV’s Clarke & Dawe each Thursday night. Bryan was also a cast member of the highly acclaimed ABC television series The Games and has appeared in various films including the hit Australian film The Castle. Bryan has held a number of photographic exhibitions, including a joint exhibition in 2014 Syria Lost documenting his various journeys to Syria before the civil war. Bryan is an inveterate traveller with a particular penchant for long train journeys in foreign parts.
