Brian K. Vaughan
Brian K. Vaughan is the Eisner and Hugo Award-winning writer/co-creator of multiple critically acclaimed series including Saga, Paper Girls, and Y: The Last Man, as well as the upcoming graphic novel Spectators with artist Niko Henrichon, who he last collaborated with on Pride of Baghdad. Vaughan lives with his family in Los Angeles, where he occasionally dabbles in film and television, though he’s always happiest making comics.
Niko Henrichon is a French-Canadian comic book artist currently residing in southern France. He is best known for his work on the graphic novel ‘Pride of Baghdad,’ written by Brian K. Vaughan. Henrichon has made significant contributions to American comics, working with iconic publishers on titles such as ‘Doctor Strange,’ ‘New Mutants,’ ‘X-Men,’ ‘Spider-Man,’ ‘Marvel Knights,’ and ‘Fables.’ His work on the ‘Meet the Skrulls’ miniseries played a pivotal role in the development of the recent ‘Secret Invasion’ Marvel TV show.
In addition to his American projects, Henrichon has made a name for himself in the French comic scene. He illustrated ‘Noé,’ a graphic adaptation of the Biblical tale by director Darren Aronofsky, as well as two volumes in the ‘Metabaron’ universe, collaborating with renowned writer Alejandro Jodorowsky. Recently, he illustrated the first volume of the series ‘Fang,’ written by Joe Kelly.
