Critics Review

A Barbara Bush Foundation Recommended Read “This installment continues the series’ emphasis on introspection, growth, and belonging, now framed within a civic context. It offers young readers a nuanced message: disagreement and discourse are not only inevitable in a democracy, but necessary. VERDICT A rich and visually layered book that encourages readers to see their voices as part of the American story.” —School Library Journal, starred review
