About the Author
Trained as a classical musician Bob Bennett spent the whole of his working life as a performer and music teacher, a career from which he retired to take up a position as a full-time official of the Musicians’ Union. He is now retired and lives by the sea in Suffolk. The Major, the Mercenaries and the Alsatian is Bennett’s fifth novel.
