Beverley Nolan
Beverley Nolan is a somatic movement educator, yoga teacher, and writer with nearly four decades of experience exploring the intelligence of the body.
An ISMETA Registered Somatic Movement Educator and Therapist and Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500, she blends yoga, Body-Mind Centering, the Feldenkrais Method, and integrated bodywork to offer experiential approaches to anatomy and movement.
Nolan is the founder and director of Barefoot Body Training, a Cambridge-based school providing somatic and trauma-informed yoga teacher trainings. She has taught widely in the UK and Europe as international faculty for Linda Hartley’s somatic education programs. Her writing appears in The Fluid Nature of Being and The Yoga Teacher’s Survival Guide.
Through classes, trainings, and her newsletter Field Notes From The Body, Nolan guides students and readers to reclaim embodied wisdom, weaving together anatomy, somatic awareness, and mythic imagination.
