Bessie Flores Zaldivar is a queer writer and educator from Tegucigalpa, Honduras. They teach fiction at Quinnipiac University and are a Lambda Literary LGBTQ Writer in Schools. Bessie received their MFA in Fiction from Virginia Tech. Libertad is Bessie’s debut novel.
