BARRY G. BLUNDELL received his PhD in physics from the University of Manchester, England. He has held academic positions in physics, engineering, and computer science in several countries including the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and Sweden. He was formerly an associate professor at the University of the Virgin Islands (US).
