About The Author
Bambanani Women's Group
Bambanani is a South African word meaning “to help or support each other.” The group consists of thirteen women and one man who came together to teach people living with HIV how to live with the virus, and those not living with HIV, how to survive. Jonathan Morgan is from the Memory Box Project at the University of Cape Town and worked with the Bambanani Women’s Group in Khayelitsha, Cape Town.
