The Wolf Hunt

Lilach has it all: an enviable home in Silicon Valley, a happy marriage and a close relationship with her sweet, shy teenager, Adam. But her peace is shattered when an attack on a local synagogue compels Adam to join a self-defence class run by a mysterious former army officer.

Lilach watches her son change overnight, and when Adam falls under suspicion for a classmates death, she must face the terrible question no parent wants to ask: do you ever really know what your child is capable of?

AYELET GUNDAR-GOSHEN was born in Israel in 1982. She is a practising clinical psychologist, has been a news editor on Israels leading newspaper and has worked for the Israeli civil rights movement. One Night, Markovitch, her first novel, won the Sapir Prize for best debut. Her novel Waking Lions was a New York Times Book of the Year and won the Wingate Prize, and her novel Liar was Editors Choice in People magazine. All of her novels are available from Pushkin Press.SONDRA SILVERSTON is a native New Yorker who has lived in Israel since 1970. She has translated works by Amos Oz, Etgar Keret and Eshkol Nevo. Her translation of Amos Ozs Between Friends won the 2013 National Jewish Book Award for fiction.
