About The Author

Audrey Eagle

Botanical artist Audrey Eagle has painted New Zealand’s native plants since 1952, culminating in the 2006 publication of her life’s work, Eagle’s Complete Trees and Shrubs of New Zealand, which won the prestigious Montana Medal for non fiction in 2007. In 2013, the University of Otago awarded her an honorary Doctorate for her contribution to botanical publishing. She lives in Dunedin.
