The text will bring out questions from the reader. Why has Mr. Richley been in a pool for 12 years? Why a pterosaur? As a teacher, this would be a great text to use for instruction or for students to read independently. It can be used to introduce students to graphic novels and how to read them. It can also be used to discuss characters. This might include traits, their characteristics, or how they impact the plot of the story.
