About the Author

Arlene H. Morris, EdD, RN, CNE, is Associate Professor, Auburn University, Montgomery, School of Nursing. She is President of the Alabama State Nurses Association, a Certified Nurse Educator (NLN), and has been a ""Distinguished Teacher"" at Auburn from 2007-2010. Other awards include funding support from Laerdal Medical Corporation and AACN for meeting presentations. She has received 7 health care/educator grants, several in 5 figures. She has authored one textbook, written chapters for several books and has written numerous peer reviewed articles. Dr. Morris has presented over 100 times, locally and nationally, and has expertise in RN-BSN and MSN curriculum revision programs. She received her EdD in 2007 from Auburn University, and worked as a staff nurse in med-surg, home care, and student health care for five years in major hospitals and community health centres in the Auburn area.

Debbie R. Faulk, PhD, MSN, RN, CNE, is Associate Professor, Auburn University, Mongomery, and chair of the RN-BSN track in the school of nursing. Dr. Faulk has 25 years of experience in a variety of health care settings, including critical care, community care, gerontology, management, and education. She is a certified Nurse Educator with chapters in 4 textbooks and numerous articles in peer reviewed journals. She presents locally and nationally.
