About The Author
Arlen Thomason
Arlen Thomason, with a doctorate in biochemistry, built a career as a molecular biologist in biomedical research. He provided photographs for Jeff Morgan’s book Productive Trout Flies for Unorthodox Prey: The Oddballs, and his photos have appeared in fly-fishing magazines. He lives in Walterville along Oregon’s McKenzie River.
