About the Author

Araceli Cardenas (Sally) is an author, independent consultant for the United Nations in Rome, Italy, and owner of Rome Today TV and Tours. In her free time, she enjoys sharing her love for Rome with others from a local perspective and delights in walking them through the city she now calls home. In addition to "Buddy and Baby in Rome," Sally is writing "Beyond the Veil," her memoir more than two decades in the making. Jessica Warrick has been an illustrator for over 16 years. Her work has appeared in award-winning picture books, magazines, and wallpaper. Her past travels through Italy offered an endless well of inspiration to draw from, providing the perfect groundwork for illustrating this book. She feels lucky to now live in NYC, another rich source of inspiration. When she's not illustrating dogs or spaghetti, she's drawing mythical creatures or fish-headed children.
