About The Author
Antonia Lloyd-Jones
Antonia Lloyd-Jones is an accomplished translator of contemporary Polish literature, with a diverse portfolio that includes novels, reportage, crime fiction, poetry, and children’s books. Her notable work includes the translation of Olga Tokarczuk’s Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead, which was shortlisted for the 2019 Man Booker International prize. Tokarczuk is also the recipient of the 2018 Nobel Prize in Literature.
For a decade, Lloyd-Jones served as a mentor for the Emerging Translators’ Mentorship Programme and previously held the position of co-chair for the UK Translators Association.
