About The Author
Anthony Conta
Anthony Conta’s career in design began at age four, thanks to a forgotten Game Gear in his school nurse mother’s office. He initially aimed to code games but shifted to understanding user behaviors in college.
He graduated from Binghamton University with degrees in financial economics, quantitative economics, and mathematics. After working at a law firm and consulting firm, he pursued his passion for games, creating tabletop games with his wife, Carrie. They developed, prototyped, crowdfunded, and published games with publishers like Mattel.
Anthony then moved to Nickelodeon, designing interactive television episodes for shows like Blues Clues. This experience sparked his interest in user experience (UX) design.
He completed a UX certificate program at General Assembly and subsequently worked at Kaplan, Food Network, Vimeo, and currently Amazon Music, designing digital experiences.
In his free time, Anthony teaches at colleges, mentors, and writes.
