About The Author
Ant Anstead
Ant Anstead is best known as a television presenter and car builder, having built bespoke cars since childhood. Prior to his career in car building, Ant was a Police Constable in Hertfordshire Constabulary. After receiving two commendations for bravery, his career as one of the UK’s youngest armed police officers concluded at age 25. Ant’s passion for cars and his history in law enforcement inspired this book. His television career began in 2014 as co-host of the Channel 4 series For The Love Of Cars with Philip Glenister. In 2015, Ant hosted BBC2’s Building Cars Live with James May and Kate Humble. In 2017, Ant became the host of Wheeler Dealers with Mike Brewer and also hosted the Channel 4 show World’s Most Expensive Cars.
