Anne L. Fox
Anne L. Fox escaped Nazi Germany on the Kindertransport. She wrote a memoir, My Heart in a Suitcase, about her childhood in Nazi Germany and departure to England on the Kindertransport. She married a U.S. soldier while in England and settled in Philadelphia, PA. She passed away in 2016.
Eva Abraham-Podietz
Eva Abraham-Podietz was born in Hamburg, Germany in 1927, and escaped to England on the Kindertransport in 1938. After the war, she worked for the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, helping Jewish refugees in Germany and Brazil. She died in 2021 in Florida at the age of 94.
