About The Author

Anna Ferrari

Anna Ferrari is an independent curator and art historian specialising in late-nineteenth and twentieth-century art and design. She wrote her PhD thesis on the French modernist sculptor Henri Laurens and has previously curated exhibitions at Barbican Art Gallery, the V&A and the Royal Academy of Arts.

Dr Benjamin Hinson is an Egytpologist and the assistant curator in the Middle East Section at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
