About The Author
Anjana K. Vala
Anjana K. Vala, associated with the Department of Life Sciences, M.K. Bhavnagar University, holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology. She has 25 years of PG teaching and research experience. Her research areas include marine microbial diversity and physiology, bioremediation, and nanobiotechnology. She has received DST Fast Track Young Scientists, CSIR SRA, and DST Women Scientists (WOS-A) fellowships. Dr. Vala has over 70 publications, 3 books, 1 co-edited special issue of a journal, and 1 patent to her credit.
Dushyant R. Dudhagara is a Faculty member at the Department of Life Sciences, Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University. He holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology and is a recipient of a National Post-Doctoral Fellowship and an international senior research fellowship. Dr. Dudhagara’s research areas of interest include marine and environmental microbiology and microbial ecology. Based on his research work, he has published more than 35 research papers. He is an editorial board member in an Elsevier Journal and has received various international awards.
