Anitha Rao-Robinson (Author)
Anitha Rao-Robinson is a children’s author. Her debut picture book, A Family For Faru, was released in 2020. She has also written a young adult trilogy: Broken Worlds (2014), Broken Promises (2017), and Broken Dreams (2019). Anitha graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce and became a Chartered Accountant. Accounting satisfies her attraction to numbers and organization, while writing allows her imagination to soar! She lives on a farm in Ontario with her husband, two children, and their many animals.
Anoosha Syed (Illustrator)
Anoosha Syed is a Pakistani-Canadian illustrator based in Toronto. She has a passion for creating cute characters with an emphasis on diversity and inclusion, and has illustrated many best-loved books for children. She is the illustrator of Bilal Cooks Daal, Bug Girl and Bug Girl: Fury on the Dance Floor, I Am Perfectly Designed, and the Monster and Boy chapter book series. When Anoosha isn’t drawing for work, she’s drawing for fun.
