Critics Review
Once again, Anindya Kundu has pushed his readers to look beyond the boundaries of conventional knowledge in order to understand what it takes for education to play a role in advancing societal change. Rather than revisiting the usual topics covered in most books on leadership in education, he focuses on the stories and lessons that have made it possible for some education leaders to transform the institutions they have led to make it possible to counter inequity and injustice. Written in clear and accessible language, I am certain that Kundu’s book will quickly be recognized as an invaluable resource for educational leaders who seek to make a difference in the schools they lead and the communities they serve. * Pedro Noguera, Emery Stoops and Joyce King Stoops Dean, University of Southern California Rossier School of Education *
