Critics Review

This is such a brilliant book for addressing lots of common childhood fears (quite a few of the fears on Stanley’s list resonate with my children)… It’s a gorgeous story with a wonderful message about overcoming your fears and worries and not being afraid to talk about them with your friends and family…The illustrations are fabulous: superb sketches filled with vibrant colour and emotion which bring to life the way that Small Stanley is feeling throughout the pages of the story. A brilliant picture book about dealing with big emotions. * Mini Travellers Magazine *The book is completely charming and is beautifully illustrated by the author… The story is uplifting as it ends and offers readers a short checklist to remind them that worries are completely normal and it’s most important to share them, no matter how big or small. * Books for Topics *
