About The Author

Angela Waidmann

Angela Waidmann is a German fictional writer and historian, holding a master’s degree from Bonn University. As an enthusiastic rider and horse breeder, specializing academically in the history of horses, she began to enquire about Kazimierz Pulaski. She immediately knew that she would write her next novel about the Polish “father of the US cavalry.”

Her research led to new scientific findings, which turned the historical image of Gen. Pulaski upside down in many respects. These findings were published in two articles in the Journal of America’s Military Past.
