About The Author

Andrew Kelly

Andrew Kelly is a long-term advocate for water and the environment as well as an award-winning author. He grew up along the banks of the Birrarung/Yarra. For many years he was the Yarra Riverkeeper and spent happy hours out on the Birrarung/Yarra introducing people to the river. He believes waterways are the keys to a healthy landscape.

Sue Lawson’s books have won the Australian Family Therapists’ Award for Children’s Literature and have been short-listed for the Prime Minister’s Literary Awards and the Children’s Book Council of Australia Book of the Year Awards.

Dean Jones is a freelance illustrator with a keen interest in mixing 2D and 3D digital techniques with traditional methods.
