Ana Isabel Ribeiro

Editor Biographies

Ana Isabel Ribeiro is a geographer with a master’s and PhD in public health. She is a researcher at the Institute of Public Health, University of Porto, the founder and leader of the Health and Territory Lab, and an invited assistant professor at the Faculty of Medicine. She has authored numerous publications and led collaborative projects in urban and environmental health.

José Pedro Silva (PhD in sociology) is a researcher at the EPIUnit of the Institute of Public Health of the University of Porto and at the Institute of Sociology of the same university.

Pedro Gullón is a Medical Doctor with a Master’s and PhD in epidemiology and public health. He is currently the General Director of Public Health and Health Equity in Spain. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor at Universidad de Alcalá and an associate researcher at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.

Thomas Astell-Burt is the Professor of Cities and Planetary Health at the University of Sydney. He leads research on nature-based solutions for health inequalities, loneliness, and planetary health as an Australian Research Council Future Fellow, and founding co-director of the Population Wellbeing and Environment Research Lab.
