About The Author

Alistair Gibbons

Alistair Thomas Gibbons grew up in Liverpool, England, and trained as a “special-effects editor” in London. He worked in Hong Kong and Germany during the 1990s. As a watch collector, he opened his ATG Vintage Watches Forum in 2002, offering fully restored and serviced watches in excellent condition from little-known brands that by the turn of the 20th century had become a distant memory. He lives in Bristol, England, with his two sons, Luke and Jack.
