About The Author
Alicia Leigh
Dr Leigh is an emerging trauma theorist and author of over 20 romance novels and two non-fiction writing books. Her PhD thesis - recognised as one of the ‘top 10% of outstanding theses in the field’ - identified the post-trauma romance subgenre and several innovative trauma theories. Her masters degree research resulted in the publication of the bestselling non-fiction title, The Romance Novel Formula. She uses her postgraduate degrees in counselling and psychology to create believable, three-dimensional characters and plots. Her certificates of achievement in forensic science and forensic anthropology help her to create realistic crime elements in her stories. She is active on social media and encourages readers to interact with her there. Her fiction is written under the pseudonyms A.K. Leigh and Leigh Hatchmann.
