About the Author

Alice Cole is a practicing psychologist and mother living in Broulee on the NSW south coast. She has a master's in clinical psychology and has focused her career on childrens mental health. She is currently the clinical lead of psychology at a children's charity service. Alice's interest in therapeutic stories started when her children faced challenges at school. In response to requests from parents and colleagues, she created the Rosie series for children and families. Alice uses a unique blend of professional and personal experience in her storytelling. Sophie Apps is a mother and illustrator who lives with her three children in Tomakin on the NSW south Coast of NSW. Sophie works in student learning support in primary school. Sophie is an amazing illustrator and has been involved in many art projects in her community. Sophie uses her experiences and images from working in the classroom and from her own children's expressions to inspire her artwork for the Rosie series.
