Description

This book is a collection of seven tales of wisdom from ancient Persia that beautifully have been reimagined and adapted for today's young minds. The stories have been selected and rewritten from three ancient Persian books, Kelileh-Va-Demneh, Marzban-Nameh, and Sandbad-Nameh. The author has selected timeless stories with fewer cultural elements and more universal messages to make it a cross-cultural storybook that can communicate with today's audience from different cultural backgrounds.

Stories with philosophical themes have been an integral part of human culture and literature for centuries. These fables explore fundamental questions about the nature of existence, morality, decision-making, knowledge, and understanding of human emotions. These stories encourage self-reflection and inspire dialogue and discussion between kids and their parents. The stories also illustrate the genuine essence of courage, honor, trust, hope, friendship, and loyalty.

Parents and children will enjoy this storybook together! As children become immersed in the imaginative worlds and relatable characters, parents can bond with their little ones over shared discussions on the lessons learned, fostering a deeper connection and understanding within the family. Together, you and your child will laugh, learn, and bond over these adventures that inspire critical thinking and open a gateway to wisdom and self-discovery.

This book is more than just a storybook - it's a journey into philosophy, compassion, and joy that will linger in your hearts by leaving a lasting impact on both young and old hearts.

5.0 out of 5 stars Classic Persian fables

I was not familiar with these specific stories. Even as an older adult, they were all interesting to me. They are generally more complex than the fables I grew up with. The conflicts presented are universal. I suspect many children will find these well-written stories engaging. The artwork is beautiful.
