About The Author

Alex San Vincente

Martin and Xabier Etxeberria are Basque authors with more than 25 published books. They work as screenwriters for television and cinema. Their first graphic novel was “Buyan,” published in the United States by Insight Comics, followed by the series “Broken Eye” at Scout Comics. They are also involved in audio fiction through their production company, ULU Media, creating the successful series “Archipelago” for ETB, the Basque public television channel.

Alex San Vicente (“Sanvi”) is a Basque artist with extensive experience. He has contributed to magazines in both the Spanish market (“Trama,” “El Balanzin,” “Mister K”) and the French market (“L’inedit,” “Spirou”). He has published several books for young audiences (“Udaberririk ankerrena” at Elkar, and the saga “Haur besoetakoa” at Xabiroi magazine).

He began his professional career as a traditional 2D animator. Currently, he combines illustration, comics, and coloring for publishers in France and Belgium, including Dargaud (Fraternity), Dupuis (Les Campbell, Spirou magazine), and Ankama (Remington, Boufbowl).
