Alex K.T. Martin is a Tokyo-based journalist and senior writer at The Japan Times, where he covers long-form stories on Japan’s people, culture, and environment. A graduate of Indiana University with a degree in philosophy, he has also reported for The Wall Street Journal and Nikkei Asia. He lives in Tokyo with his wife and two children.
