About the Author

Alex Kravchenko immigrated to Canada in 1998 from Ukraine. Prior to the collapse of the USSR in 1991, he had served in the military and police for many years. Working different jobs as a newcomer, he never abandoned his dream of continuing his career as a member of the law enforcement community. In August 2005, Alex Kravchenko was hired as an investigator of the Special Investigations Unit, Ministry of the Attorney General of Ontario. He investigated multiple high-profile, sensitive cases, such as firearms deaths, custody injuries, and allegations of sexual assaults involving police officers.
