Ádina L. Santana is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Grain Science and Industry Department in Kansas State University. Dr. Santana has more than 10 years of research on the processing of value-added substances with supercritical technology via extraction, fractionation, phase equilibria, particle formation, and chemical reactions to extend the valorisation of agroindustry wastes and the end use of crops. Her research interest also includes health and technological aspects of bioactive molecules for human nutrition.
